Course Requirements

Participation and Format:

 

1. Complete all 4 online micro-sessions (25-30 minutes each).

2. Engage in role plays, reflection exercises, and adaptability drill.

3. Submit written reflection or responses to handout prompts for supervisor evaluation

4. Complete Pre-Test and Post-Test evaluations.

 

Assessment:  

 

1. Pass the Post-Test with at least 75% .

2. Achieve a Pass Mark in role-play performance using a 9-scale adaptability rubric.

Course Description

This 2-hour training on Sustainability & Green Practices in Hospitality introduces supervisors, duty managers, and team leaders to the importance of eco-friendly operations. The session highlights waste reduction, energy and water conservation, and ways to engage guests in green initiatives, ensuring both environmental responsibility and enhanced guest experience.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the participants should be able to:


1.     Draft a basic green checklist for hospitality operations.

2.     Explain the importance of sustainability in hospitality.

3.     Recognize key areas of eco-friendly operations.

4.     Value sustainability as part of hospitality excellence.
