Course Requirements

Participation and Format:

 

1. No prior training required (entry-level friendly).

2. Complete all 6 online micro-sessions (35-40 minutes each).

3. Participate in role plays, reflection exercises, and adaptability drill

4. Submit written reflections or responses for supervisor evaluation

5. Complete Pre-Test and Post-Test evaluations.

Assessment:  

 

1. Pass the Post-Test with at least 75% .

2. Achieve a Pass Mark in role-play performance using a 9-scale adaptability rubric.

Course Description

This 4-hour training on Coaching for Performance Improvement builds on the fundamentals by introducing advanced coaching techniques, role-plays, and action planning. Participants will learn how to manage different performance challenges, adapt coaching styles, and create practical action plans for staff improvement.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the participants should be able to:


1.     Apply situational and adaptive coaching techniques.

2.     Conduct effective coaching conversations for performance improvement.

3.     Identify advanced coaching frameworks used in hospitality.

4.     Explain how to adapt coaching styles to staff readiness and motivation.

5.     Value adaptability in coaching practices.
