Participation and Format:
1. No prior training required (entry-level friendly).
2. Complete all 6 online micro-sessions (35-40 minutes each).
3. Participate in role plays, reflection exercises, and adaptability drill
4. Submit written reflections or responses for supervisor evaluation
5. Complete Pre-Test and Post-Test evaluations.
Assessment:
1. Pass the Post-Test with at least 75% .
2. Achieve a Pass Mark in role-play performance using a 9-scale adaptability rubric.
This 4-hour training expands on essential practices for data protection, privacy, and security in the hospitality industry. Participants will develop deeper understanding and hands-on application of secure handling of guest information, safe use of digital systems, and prevention of breaches that could harm guest trust or the organization’s reputation. Through extended role-plays, case studies, and group discussions, staff will strengthen their accountability in safeguarding guest data.
1. Apply secure practices when handling guest records, payments, and personal details.
2. Use SOPs and checklists to maintain privacy and prevent data mishandling.
3. Apply safe practices in digital environments (emails, Wi-Fi, PMS, POS).
4. Explain the concepts of data protection, privacy, and information security.
5. Recognize common threats: phishing, overheard conversations, misplaced documents.
6. Respect confidentiality as a core hospitality value.
